Description
To utilize the individual’s sound understanding of accounting principles combined with their knowledge of the oil and gas industry for the benefit of the Revenue Accounting department and other business units for revenue bookings, DOI maintenance, and escheat reporting.
Qualifications
• The revenue accounting experience should have an emphasis on and a solid overall understanding of; operated and non-operated revenue bookings, DOI maintenance, reading of revenue check detail and PoP statements, and utilizing EnergyLink data.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with management, land and production departments
• Good time management and organizational skills
4-year undergraduate degree (Accounting/Finance) with 5-6 years of oil and gas revenue accounting or equivalent experience, or high school diploma or GED with 9-10 years of oil and gas revenue accounting or equivalent experience.
